Cleaning and Problem Solving

We provide a specialist cleaning service for tiles, stone and grout joints that have been neglected or are subject to heavy use. We can safely remove grease, food stains, soap scum, hard water deposits, dirt and soil etc without damaging or etching the surface.

In addition we can treat tough, deep-set stains such as cured grout and mortar haze, epoxy grout haze, adhesives, paint, oil, rust and efflorescence, and strip old sealers and coatings.

Grout services

Grout is a porous material; this means that it is prone to staining. We offer a grout sealing service that aids protection of the grout joints by adding a stain resistant barrier, allowing reaction time to clean the surface.

We can also re-colour existing grout joints. As well as colouring it also seals the joint and so makes ongoing maintenance easier. This can be the same colour as the existing grout or a different colour.

Sealing stone

We use a range of sealers, mostly water based, to offer a choice of finishes. You could have a natural look, low-sheen or high-sheen finish. A further option is an enhanced look to darken, enrich and highlight the natural stone.

The benefit of a water based sealer is that it is non-flammable and non-toxic. Where we have to use a solvent based sealer in a dense material we use a non-flammable product with a low VOC.
